went to Central Park aout a week ago and there was a world record breaking attempt going on and t was really cool, got some nice pictures until my camera failed. If u wanna know what the record was about, ask in the comments :3 i like this so much because there is contradiction between simplicity and complicatedness(? lol) because it looks so effortless but in reality she is balancing all of her body weight on her toes and able to move like that
*EDIT* wow this really blew up over 24 hours and im so happy and grateful that 300 of you guys like it and about 100 faved and stuff...its on page 4 of the popular in 24 hrs! :D

My ballet shoes look like that :) they don't stay all perfect and pretty for long! (I hate to be picky...but the picture is a bit blurry even though what it's capturing is great!)

I like the way her slippers (idk the proper term for them) are a little ragged at the toes, it shows that she's put a lot of time and effort into being able to preform this feat. The cracked ground is also a nice touch since traditionally you'd think of a ballerina dancing on a hardwood stage and this setting contributes to the feeling that she has struggled. What filters did you use?

Oh hey, ours are kind of similar :) This is really pretty-the only thing I would suggest would be to have left a little more photo space on the left side of the picture. I don't know if the blurriness was your artistic liberties at work, haha. But it does give it a little motion. :)

A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. ~Ansel Adams
